About

Hi, I’m a dad of twins living in Japan.

Twin Gear Guides exists because of a simple realization: almost every baby guide out there is written for parents of one baby. When you’re expecting two, the advice doesn’t just double — a lot of it stops working entirely. Gear that’s perfect for a single baby can be useless for twins, and the things that actually save a twin family’s sanity rarely make it onto standard checklists.

On this site, I share what my family has learned raising twins — the routines, the logistics, and the gear decisions — along with carefully researched comparisons of products that matter for families of multiples.

A note on honesty: when I write about our experience, it’s real. When a post is based on research and spec comparisons rather than personal use, I say so. Some posts on this site contain affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. That never changes what I recommend.

If you’re a fellow twin parent: welcome. It does get easier. Mostly.
